I hope you
have read the review of VR+ I wrote on
April 8th. It is one of my favorite
applications, something I really think
is worth having. I also expressed my
enthusiasm over the idea of integrating
the iDictate service into VR+ and making
it all an even more useful package.
Although iDictate is not free, it is not
expensive either (I’ve been researching)
and they give you a free trial so you
can see for yourself if it’s worthy of
your hard earned money. I have been
testing the service myself and have
plans to write a review here, but why
not test it yourself in your own voice,
tone and accent?
Today, all existing iDictate subscribers
were informed of an extended trial
period that should leave no doubts about
the quality of the service:
Thank you for using VR+ to submit
your test voice file to iDictate for
transcribing. While the response to our
new service has been overwhelming, many
users have requested another opportunity
to submit test files again.
In order to help you appreciate the
extraordinary convenience of using VR+
with iDictate, we have decided to extend
your free trial-offer. You may submit as
many voice files as you wish, up to an
aggregate of 1,000 words, for one week.
VR+ is perfect for recording letters,
memos, meeting summaries, to-do lists
and more. After recording a file, just
click on, “transcribe,” and before you
know it, iDictate will have transcribed
your file and emailed it back to you,
usually within minutes!
Please let us know if you have any
suggestions, comments and questions.
Respectfully,
Lee J. Dorfman, CEO
If you like the idea, head to
iDictate’s
site and register/subscribe for
free. You won’t be billed until your
trial period is over.
